Pacific Bentonite Ltd.

Formed in 1984, Pacific Bentonite Ltd. (PBL) is a privately owned company dedicated to identifying deposits of industrial minerals suitable for mining, processing and marketing.

One of our most notable projects to date has been the Décor Mine, located west of Hat Creek Valley and approximately 200km Northeast of Vancouver, British Columbia. Décor Mine, otherwise known as Hat Creek, was put into production by PBL's President, John Dormer.

Currently, we are focusing our attention on a very large deposit of bentonite that was created millions of years ago. When the clay within this deposit interbedded with volcanic ash, a deposit rich in alumia was created. The material is 60-70% montomoillonite.
